Downloads have slowed down. But that's fine. We're already near the finish line. 4200 downloads! That's nearly a (here we go with the bad math again) 400% boost from two days ago! However, I also noticed another person buying the Judge (it's a miracle!). Gotta update that counter again. So yeah, one more down, 979 more to go!
I added a poll because I just found it in the gadgets list for blogger and thought I'd give it a go. But it looks like it's already broken. That poll has worse math skills than me(it's showing 150% for a total?). So much for that. I wonder if it's still in testing.

And it's official...
And it's official...we've broken 3000! That's over 60% of the goal!
Just 2000 more to go before I'll prepare to release the Judge as an early Christmas present. We got a nice boost from Halloween, but the last stretch is always the hardest.
And as always, please leave a review of the book on Amazon. Thanks.

Yikes!

Downloads are still going! It's almost hard to imagine that just yesterday we were slowly going up to 800. And now...almost 3000! Thank you Free-Ebooks for putting it up on your site. And thank you unknown denizens of the Internet for checking it out. I hope you all enjoy it for what it is...a bizarre adventure. I just hope that the formatting is proper. I know for sure that the PDF is fine. But it seems they converted it into other formats and drop caps could be an issue.
On other news related to Awake--as my...uh...local reader was checking out the book, the reader noticed something strange. Apparently I wrote something in and assumed that it would fit...but something else is missing. To put it simply, I made a boo-boo(Halloween joke?). Sorry for that. I kind of rushed it out and, while I didn't expect it to be perfect, I didn't think it had any major errors in it. And I hope it doesn't have any other errors but...frankly...it takes so much time to read through it, and plus I can't always tell if I left something in or out(the mind makes plenty of mistakes).
Once again, (at the expense of sounding like a broken record) I may put the Judge up for free once we hit about 5000 or so downloads on Awake. If you enjoyed Awake, tell your friends and family about it(and your enemies too. might as well, right?).
However, I must say this. Even if I put up the Judge for free, it doesn't mean I'll make a sequel. These books take SO much time and effort to write that I can only continue writing if I get support from YOU, the readers. The Judge is twice as big as Awake and each subsequent sequel will be just as long as the Judge if not longer! So I'll only write up a sequel if I can tell there is demand for one.
I'll be keeping track of sales here on the sidebar. It doesn't matter how you purchase it: paperback, kindle, whatever. We just need to hit 1000. Once we hit 1000 I'll begin production. If you made a purchase and you think I missed it, just leave a comment on this blog about where you got it from and I'll double check it.

An unexpected turn of events...
I woke up this morning to find an unexpected jump in downloads. I couldn't believe my eyes because the counter went up almost 1000! So now we're almost reaching two thousand downloads. That's pretty insane...as it's been a little over a week now. So what was the cause of the jump? Apparently my book was in the newsletter...the Halloween edition.

Oh Snap
One more sale of the Judge! What is going on? Maybe my luck has changed? Maybe the world is turning into a better place? Maybe two people just happened to be feeling a bit generous? I have no clue. But who cares, right?
My heartfelt gratitude goes out to those in the UK because every sale is most amazing. US sales have been stagnant forever. Ugh. And so...UK is now my favorite place on this Earth...at least for a few years. I spent a long time writing the Judge and it's a relief to know that someone (maybe twenty people) might be reading it. Books are not meant to be written, after all. They're meant to be read!
Thanks people. YOU ARE AWESOME(whoever you are)! And I hope you enjoy the book. I wish I had an automated counter for this too, but I don't how I'd be able to pull that off.
Judge Sales: 20
980 more to go! (That math was a lot easier)
And if you're wondering whether or not I'll do this for every single sale...no need to wonder. I will definitely make a post for each and every sale!

Eeehhhh....
*BURP* *smacks lips*
It's official. I'm disappointed. This PPUSHU PPUSHU INSTANT SNACKU isn't as great as I'd hoped. It's instant noodle...in a bag...that you eat raw. That's what I thought it would be, but I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Like maybe it was something made to look like a dried instant noodle. So much for that. It's so dry, fatty and crunchy that I can still feel it in my gut about an hour later. I added some warm water...and now it's just stirring and rolling about in my stomach. Well, I learned my lesson: if it looks just like instant noodle, it probably is. It's amazingly quite filling though, but I'm guessing that's because of how tough it is to digest. *BURP*

PPUSHU PPUSHU!
It has done it again! I don't really understand how it works, but we've hit over 500 downloads on Free-Ebooks. That's 10% of the goal! Crazy.... I thought it'd slow down after a couple of days, but it still looks to be doing okay.
There's a little boy with a red cape and hammer on my desk. What am I talking about? PPUSHU PPUSHU OF COURSE! No, you don't have to readjust your screen, wipe your glasses/contacts, or get a ridiculously overpriced eye-exam...because you're not reading PUSH PUSH(nobody's giving birth here). You're reading PPUSHU PPUSHU!
PPUSHU PPUSHU (gosh, it's a pain to type) is a korean snack that bears some striking resemblance to instant noodles. In fact, if I didn't know better (and I'm not sure I do) I'd say it is instant noodles...in a bag. But it says to just eat it. You read that right. You don't add water, boil it, or throw it in the trash (though you always have those options). You EAT IT RAW!
I'm scared. I really am. It sits on my desk, just begging to be eaten. But what if it is really just instant noodles repackaged? If it is, I'm going to be sorely disappointed. As you probably know, instant noodles have never been considered healthy. It's basically just carbs, fat and salt. So...having to eat it raw doesn't really sound like an improvement. Oh well. I'll give a try.
How bad can PPUSHU PPUSHU INSTANT SNACKU be?
As a bonus--since you don't have to cook it, it'll be great for post-apocalyptic scenarios.
